"Bloom: mutation, toxicity and the sublime" is a new exhibition in New Zealand that "explores art that has been made in relation to the impact of scientific experimentation on nature and human consciousness, and its representation in literature and film. The exhibition features 13 leading contemporary artists who respond to today's compelling and anxiety inducing issues of toxic environmental change, genetic engineering, mutation and the development of cybernetics."
