in Cooper-Hewitt's National Design Triennial (previously mentioned), is Cynthia Breazeal's Cyberflora project where robotic flowers respond to the presence of viewers. the flowers sway, glow, bob, ripple, and lean towards the direction of warmth. the video is really worth checking out.
